Conference Features The Purchasing Division will offer back-to-back conferences this year, and participants will be permitted to attend the one that most suits their needs. They include:
Both conferences will kick off and end with a general session. Each conference will offer two tracks, with each track offering the same sessions throughout the course of the conference. There will be no need for participants to pre-select topics. Breakfast and lunch will be offered both days, with plenty of opportunities for networking, and the 2025 Procurement Officer of the Year will be announced. Registration and Fee Registration for designated procurement officers opens on Monday, June 2, 2025. Registration for all others opens on Monday, June 16, 2025. The registration fee will be $175 per person, which covers materials, group meals, administrative costs, and attendance to all workshop sessions. Individuals with special dietary restrictions should contact Courtney Johnson at (304) 558-4213. Payment of the conference registration fee will be accepted at the time of online registration. The preferred method of payment is the state Purchasing Card. If you wish to pay by IET, you may contact Courtney Johnson at the phone number above. Lodging Arrangements Reservations may be made beginning June 2 by calling Glade Springs at 844-668-5760. Award Nominations The Purchasing Division is pleased to continue its tradition of honoring its agency partners with the Procurement Officer of the Year award. To submit a nomination, click here.
