EXPLANATION OF THE TERMS USED ON THIS PAGE
RFQ NUMBER
Each Request for Quotation (RFQ) is given a number.
The number usually appears in the top, right-hand corner of the RFQ, or directly
above the name of the SPENDING UNIT in the West Virginia Purchasing
Bulletin. For example, it may look like: DEP12932 or DNR60143 or 705C0017.

WV TEAM VENDOR ID AND GROUP NUMBER
"TEAM" is the name of our automated purchasing system.
When you register as a vendor with the West Virginia Purchasing Division, a
system-generated vendor number is created for you. The number is used
when you logon to the West Virginia Purchasing Bulletin. It
is ten characters long and begins with an asterisk. Examples include
*987654321 or *B12345678. (You do not need to enter the asterisk to
request an RFQ.) A two-digit GROUP NUMBER is added to the end of your
TEAM vendor number for each additional branch office you register; such as 01, 02, 03,
etc. If you do not know your TEAM VENDOR ID AND/OR GROUP
NUMBER, enter the letters NA. [Back

TAX ID
Please enter the federal employer identification number
(FEIN) you used when you registered as a vendor
with the Purchasing Division. If the number is unknown or unavailable,
enter the letters NA. [Back

- Mailing your request to the: West Virginia Purchasing Division, PO Box 50130, Charleston, WV 25305-0130.
Please provide the following information for each requested bid package: RFQ
number, Buyer's name, complete business name and mailing address, Federal
Employers Identification Number (FEIN), and the name &
telephone number of a contact person we may call for clarification.
