The West Virginia Chapter of NIGP will hold a special meeting for the purpose of electing officers for the term of July 1, 2013 through December 31, 2014 (eighteen months).  This meeting will be held on Thursday, June 27, 2013, beginning at 3:30 PM, at the Forestry Division, 7 Players Drive, Charleston.  Light snacks will be provided.  Those wishing to socialize after the meeting may want to go to dinner together at a place of their choice.

Voting ballots will only be accepted from those individuals who have paid 2012 dues prior to or at this meeting.  If you have not paid your 2012 dues and wish to vote, you may receive an invoice from Susie Teel.  Dues are $24 per calendar year and can also be sent directly to the attention of Susie Teel, Treasurer, at WVDHHR, One Davis Square, Room #111, Charleston, WV 25301.  Votes will also be accepted from former chapter members who are now retired, as they are exempt from paying dues.

Nominations are encouraged and will be accepted from the floor during the meeting.  The nomination committee proposes the following prospective individuals for the offices indicated.  These individuals have volunteered to have their names placed on the ballot and are willing to accept the respective duties of each office.

Vice President: Ann Mollohan

Secretary: Evelyn Smith

Treasurer: Melissa Mullins

For those of you who are unable to attend this special election meeting and wish to vote, an absentee ballot is available for your convenience.  Absentee ballots are due no later than noon on June 26, 2013.  Information on where to send ballots will be included on the Absentee Ballot form.
