Welcome to the home of the West Virginia Nursing Home Administrators Licensing Board

MISSION STATEMENT
The primary purpose of the Board grounded on law (federal and state) is to protect the public good by developing and enforcing regulations to govern the practice of nursing home administration in West Virginia.

Due to the COVID-19 Virus, the WVNHALB has voted to reduce the required NAB approved continuing education hours from 20 to 10, for this year only. If you have taken more than 10 hours, the hours cannot be carried over to the next renewal period. A memo will be included with the renewal forms that will be sent out the first week of April. ALL licenses expire June 30, 2021. Also, the CMS targeted COVID-19 Training for Nursing Home Management (CVD19-MAN) was approved for 4.5 hrs.

ALERT: There is a new process for submitting license fees/permit fees and renewals. Your fees will be mailed separate from any forms to a different address. No personal checks. Make sure that your name is on the memo of the check and is legible. Please read the information that is attached to the renewal form.

Certified checks, corporate checks, money orders are to be mailed to:
WV Nursing Home Administrator's Licensing Board
PO Box 40447
Charleston, WV 25364

ALL forms such as renewal form, NABVerify Report (not the one with course descriptions-just NAB number, name of course and hrs.) ALL permit applications, applications to sit for exams, are to be mailed to:

WV Nursing Home Administrator's Licensing Board
PO Box 522
Winfield, WV 25213
