Amandi's tonnage was reported on 7/15/06. The
208.1 tons reported for Amandi were collected, for
the most part, from out-of-state sources and
processed for recycling at the Amandi
facility in Davisville, WV.
2 Estimated -
information obtained from Susan McCloud, Wood Co.
SWA.
3 Esitmated -
information obtained from Laura Stiller, Monongalia
Co. SWA. WVU entered into an agreement with PC
Renewal for the recycling of WVU obsolete
electronics.
4 PC Renewal's total for 2007 was 486.89. This
amount was reduced by 78 tons to avoid double
counting. The firm managed events from Hancock,
Harrison, Monongalia, Marion and Ohio counties in
2007. PC Renewal's total for 2008 was 779.6. This
was adjusted to reflect 110.7 tons reported by
various West Virginia Solid Waste Authorities
processed by PC Renewal.
5. It should be noted that no reporting requirements
exist for recycling in West Virginia. All figures in
the above table were reported voluntarily.
6 The CED-MAR is the total tonnage from the Covered
Electronic Device Manufacturer Annual Report and
represents figures from manufactures that sell
covered electronic devices in West Virginia and have
their own recycling program through mail in
programs, oursourced programs or other methods.
7 Some of the tonnages in this report came
from CED grant reciepients as reported to WV DEP
REAP program. The CED grant cycle does not
follow the calendar year but runs from October 1 to
September 30 of the following year.
