Justice Benjamin to speak at Legal Aid event

CHARLESTON, W.Va. – West Virginia Supreme Court Justice Brent Benjamin will speak about "The Challenge of Achieving Justice" at 12:30 p.m. Tuesday, September 30, 2008, at The Summit Conference Center, 129 Summers Street, Charleston.

Justice Benjamin’s speech is part of a Legal Aid of West Virginia event celebrating the completion of its 2006-2008 fund-raising campaign and launching its 2009-2010 campaign. Two Legal Aid attorneys also will speak about their work, and Legal Aid administrators will thank donors and fund-raisers.

The public is invited to Justice Benjamin’s speech and to a complimentary luncheon preceding it at 11:30 a.m. at the same location.

Attorneys may receive 1.2 CLEs for attending Justice Benjamin’s portion of the program.
