Supreme Court Law Library to host "Basic Legal Research" workshop

 CHARLESTON, W.Va. – A FREE workshop titled "Basic Legal Research" will be presented by the West Virginia State Law Library. The workshop will be held at 11:00 a.m., Saturday, May 31, in the State Law Library, located in Building 1, Room E-404 of the State Capitol Complex. 

The workshop will cover how to find legal information including court opinions and statutes, and the types of available legal resources.

Metered parking (free on Saturday) is available behind the Cultural Center near the parking garage and along California Avenue. The workshop is open to the public and no registration is required. For more information, contact Sara Thompson at the State Law Library at (304) 558-2607.
