            Monitoring and Completion

Courtroom Team:       Judge (if felony) and magistrate (if misdemeanor), ICMO, Public Defender, Prosecutor, designated clinical case worker from Healthways, Inc., community mental health facility, family member, advocate or friend, if participant permits. 

 

Access to an Attorney:       Not required to be at every hearing, but can be at every hearing if participant or attorney desires.

 

Program Duration (Months):       3 months; began October 1, 2003.

 

Program Description:        Length of program for felony cases is at least one year up to the maximum allowable sentence for the offense or completion of treatment plans subsequent to one year.  Length of program for misdemeanor cases is one year, which is the maximum allowable sentence for misdemeanor convictions or completion of treatment plan.
