Printing, Faxing, or E-mailing a document from the LexisNexis Legal Database

Legal Research Database

     The LexisNexis Legal Database enables you to easily find and print laws decided by the Supreme Court of Appeals of West Virginia and West Virginia laws decided by the legislature.  

     You are encouraged to view the step-by-step instructions, located in the list on the left of your screen, before starting a search in LexisNexis.  You will learn how to sign on to the database and link to the LexisNexis Web site.   For further information on advanced searching, see the booklet called Learning LexisNexis located inside the back pocket of the printed handbook binder or click on the "Take a Tour" link on the right side of this page.

     When you are ready to begin your research, click on the LexisNexis logo located on the left.  In addition to printing documents at the Legal Research Centers, you can also fax and e-mail  to print at your home or office computer.

     Please note:  Connecting to the LexisNexis legal database is only available at Legal Research Center libraries.
