I fully concur with the majority opinion. I write separately to emphasize my appreciation for the effort that Mr. McMillian has made to earn the result reached in this Court's decision. And I also want to express just as great an appreciation for his support by a host of good and highly-responsible friends _ who have encouraged him to “keep hope alive!” Today's decision vindicates their faith in Mr. McMillian to make a change for the better _ and his faith in himself. I hope and believe he can continue on this path of improvement and service to society.

            I concur with the Court's decision to permit Mark Lee McMillian to practice law in West Virginia.
