1. State of W. Va. v. David Anderson - 30524 -

Karen H. Glascock, et al. v. City National Bank of West Virginia - 30595 - The petitioners, Karen H. Glascock and William K. Glascock, appeal from a summary judgment entered in favor of the respondent, City National Bank of West Virginia ( successor to Blue Ridge Bank ). The petitioners, who obtained a loan from the Bank in order to engage contractors to build a home, alleged that the Bank improperly withheld an inspection report containing evidence that the home had serious structural defects, some of which were threatening to the health and safety of the petitioners.3. Andrew Mugnano v. Howard Painter, Warden - 30618
- Petitioner appeals from the circuit court's summary denial of his pro se petition for a writ of habeas corpus where the circuit court did not appoint counsel to petitioner. Petitioner was appointed counsel for the purpose of this appeal and seeks to have this matter remanded to develop a record on his claim that he was denied effective assistance of counsel at sentencing.
4. Danny Scott Wilkinson, Adm. v. W. Rexford Duff, M.D., et al. - 30399 - Petitioners appeal from the circuit court's award of summary judgment in favor of third-party defendants.
5. State of W. Va. v. Charles C. Damron - 30530 - In this direct appeal, the petitioner, Charles C. Damron, challenges his convictions in the Circuit Court of Jackson County, upon pleas of guilty, to burglary and petit larceny. The petitioner contends, inter alia, that the convictions should be set aside because the Circuit Court did not act promptly in arraigning the petitioner and in appointing counsel to represent him.
