1.Lahoma Hunley Lester v. James Anthony Hunley - 26120 -  Lahoma Lester appeals an order which places custody of her three children with their father, James Hunley.  At issue is whether the evidence was sufficient to support a change of custody and whether the lower court should have granted an additional hearing to receive additional evidence. 

2. In Re: Petition of Steven C. Petrey for Judicial Review of Administrative Decision - 26436 - Commissioner appeals from an order of the circuit court granting the administrative appeal and dismissing the administrative order suspending the license of respondent herein. 

3. State of West Virginia v. Lawrence Edward Christian, III - 26438 - Defendant appeals from his conviction of voluntary manslaughter for which he received a sentence of 12 years in the state penitentiary. 

4. Russie E. O'Brien Phares, et al v. Stanley N. Vandevender, et al. - 26439 - The petitioner, Rosemary Parsons, appeals from an order of the Circuit Court of Webster County modifying a previous judgment favorable to her.  According to Parsons, the intervening refusal by this Court of an appeal rendered the judgment permanent and not subject to modification. 

5. Roy David Vernatter v. Warden, WV Penitentiary - 25952 - The petitioner appeals from an order entered in the Circuit Court of Logan County denying him relief in habeas corpus.  The petitioner, serving a sentence of life, with mercy, upon a 1st degree murder conviction, contends that his rights to effective assistance of counsel and due process were violated.   

6.  State of West Virginia v. James Robert Stephens - 25893 - Defendant appeals conviction of first degree sexual assault (15 to 35) and conviction of the offense of sexual abuse by a custodian (5 to 15). 

7.  State ex rel. Silling Associates, Inc. v. Hon. Herman G. Canady, Jr., et al. - 26570 - Silling Associates seeks a ruling on a Motion to Dismiss filed on May 18, 1995.  A hearing was held on the Motion on Nov. 17, 1995.  Silling has filed a supplemental memorandum and has sought ruling without success. - Dismissed 

8.  In Re:  Michael Ray T., Scottie Lee T., and Tonya Lynn T. -  26639 - Former foster parents appeal an order of the Mercer County Circuit Court, claiming that the court erred in denying their motion to intervene and in refusing to entertain their motion for custody. 

9.  In Re:  Travis W. - 26640 - Father appeals the termination of his parental rights, claiming that the court erred in failing to conduct a dispositional hearing, in failing to require the Dept. to provide the parties with a case plan for the child, and in determining that the child was abandoned. 

10. State ex rel. Paul W. Kirby, Commissioner v. Hon. Fred Risovich, II, et al. - 26641 - No summary available -  Dismissed
