1.	Barbara Brown George Sitler No. 010379 Refuse 5-0	Petitioner in State ex rel. Mark Harris v. The Honorable Katherine DeMarco, Magistrate, No. 010379, seeks a writ of mandamus to compel Kanawha County Magistrate to either provide him with a preliminary hearing or to release him from custody.
2.	Jeffrey A. Holmstrand No. 010378 Refuse 5-0	Petitioner in State ex rel. St. Paul Fire & Marine Insurance Company v. The Honorable Arthur M. Recht, No. 010378, seeks a writ of prohibition to prohibit the enforcement of the lower court ruling requiring production of documents which petitioner argues was protected by the attorney/client privilege or the work-product doctrine, orders that depositions of in-house attorneys be permitted, and orders the production of documents which petitioner claims constitute trade secrets, proprietary, or confidential information.
3.	William J. Sadler Deborah K. Garton No. 010381 Refuse 5-0	Petitioner in the State of West Virginia v. The Honorable John R. Frazier, No. 010381, seeks a writ of prohibition to prohibit the enforcement of an order granting a new trial to defendant.
4.	Thomas E. McHugh No. 28887 Grant  5-0	Amicus Curiae in Jeremy M. Hart v. National Collegiate Athletic Association, No. 28887, seeks leave to file a substitute amicus curiae brief on behalf of USA Wrestling.
5.	Stephen P. Goodwin Carrie Goodwin Fenwick No. 010284 Refuse  3-2 [Maynard, J., Davis J.]	Respondent, West Virginia University Foundation, Inc., in Affiliated Construction Trades Foundation v. The University Board of Trustees, No. 010284, moves to strike from the Petition for Appeal all references to an affidavit of James A. Prete and any other evidence tendered after the hearing on cross motions for summary judgment and strike related portions of the petition where petitioner cites as error the trial court’s failure to consider such affidavit as evidence.
6.	Fred Adkins No. 010233 Grant  5-0	A predecessor in interest to petitioner in Norfolk Southern Railway Company v. Rebecca L. Robie, No. 010233, was a defendant in a civil trial in Kanawha County which occurred in 1998 and seeks a writ of mandamus to compel the respondent to produce the complete transcript of that trial.
