1. (*)  In RE: West Virginia Rezulin Litigation  - 30958 - Plaintiffs appeal from the circuit court's order denying class certification and ruling on merit issues.

2. (*)  SER Sandra McCaffery, et al. v. Hon. John A. Hutchinson, Judge, et al.  - 30963 - Plaintiffs in rezulin mass litigation pending before the Circuit Court of Raleigh County  seek a writ of prohibition to prevent enforcement of an order denying their motion to remand cases to the original venue in which they were filed. Plaintiffs contend that the circuit court's prior ruling denying class certification because no common issues of fact exists now precludes continued referral to the panel. 

3.  Lawyer Disciplinary Board v. John A. Scott  - 30090 - No summary available.

4.  State of W. Va. v. David D. W.  - 30786 - Defendant appeals from his convictions on 152 felony counts of sexual offenses. He was sentenced to a term of 640 years to 2660 years. 

5.  State of W. Va. v. Yasser Abdelhaq  - 30736 - Defendant appeals from his conviction of first degree murder. He was sentenced to life in prison without mercy.

6.  In Re: The Marriage of William G. Wilson v. Tina L. Wilson  - 30844 - Petitioner husband appeals from the circuit court's order adopting the recommended decision of the family law master as the same relates to alimony, child support was and attorney's fees.

7.  Dale T. Brant v. James W. Davis, Jr.  - 30837 - Continued.

8.  Tammy Zikow, Administratrix v. Jack Ray Clark  - 30843 - Petitioner appeals from the circuit court's order denying her motion to set aside the circuit court's order dated September 17, 1998, which set aside the circuit court's final order of divorce entered on August 15, 1991, as between respondent and petitioner's decedent.

9.   Patricia Wines v. Jefferson County Board of Education  - 30848 - Petitioner appeals from the circuit court's decision affirming a decision of the WV Education and State Employees Grievance Board  upholding her dismissal from employment as a substitute custodian. She also appeals the circuit court's award of only nominal damages for a procedural due process violation.

10.  Shirley Hunt Braley v. Roger L. Hunt  - 30849 - Petitioner appeals from the circuit court's order requiring him to fund a trust account for purposes of continuing permanent spousal support to his ex-wife, the respondent, and to the court's order that he make $2,000 monthly support payments beginning June 2000.

11.  Badger Lumber Co., Inc., V. Richard L. Redd, et al.  - 30847 - Defendant homeowners appeal from the circuit court's order upholding a Mechanic's Lien against their real estate and appointing a special commissioner to prioritize all liens, to sell the real estate at a judicial sale, and to utilize the proceeds from that sale to satisfy all valid liens against the property.

12.  State of W. Va. v. Ryan Farnsworth Scott  - 30692 - Defendant pled guilty to uttering and to transporting a controlled substance onto the grounds of a jail. He appeals to this court on the basis that the circuit court failed to properly apportion the days that he previously served prior to sentencing between the two offenses for which he was sentenced. - Continued.
