2.  Office of Disciplinary Counsel v. Lawrence W. Burdette, II - 25820 - Dismissed.

3.  In the Interest of: Jamie Nichole H., et al. - 25800 - Mother appeals termination of her parental rights, asserting that the circuit court erred in failing to extend post-adjudicatory improvement period and imposing conditions which have little to do with being a fit parent.

4.  State of West Virginia v. Jimmie Freeman - 25799 - Freeman appeals his conviction on one count of  Second Degree Sexual Assault, claiming the court erred in refusing to give a Battery instruction, in denying Mr. Freeman a continuance, and that there was insufficient evidence to support a guilty verdict.  - Dismissed.

5.  Debbie Sipple, Admx., et al. v. David Starr, dba Rocket Mart, Inc., et al. - 25798 - This action concerns an accidental shooting, involving horseplay, at a convenience store. 

6.  State of West Virginia v. Millard Mann - 25767 - Defendant appeals conviction of aggravated robbery.  He was sentenced to 30 years. 

7.  State ex rel. William K. Davis, Commissioner, et al. v. Hon. Jeffrey B. Reed, Judge, et al. - 25828 - No summary available. - Dismissed.

8.  Marguerite L. Price v. v. Robert Lynn Price - 25361 - Mother/custodial parent appeals order in an action seeking to increase the child support award. 

9.  State ex rel. David V. Wright, et al.  v. Hon. James C. Stucky, Judge, et al. - 25839 - Petition for Writ of Prohibition in Wright, et al. v. Stucky, et al, No. 990282.  The petitions seeks to prohibit enforcement of an order refusing a protective order concerning depositions of the Wright's, defendants in the underlying civil action. - To be submitted on briefs only without argument.

10.  William F. Poling, et al. v. Belington Bank, Inc., et al. - 25336 - This appeal arises from a declaratory judgment action filed in the Circuit Court of Barbour County to clarify the ownership of $180,000 worth of stock in Belington Bank, Inc.  The circuit court dismissed the complaint of the petitioners, William F. Poling and Candace L. Jacques, and denied the petitioners' motion to amend their complaint.

11.  State ex rel. Dominique Rahman v. Hon. Herman G. Canady, Jr., Judge - 25843 - Petitioner seeks a writ of mandamus directing the judge to make a determination whether the reason for striking a juror was a pretext for racial discrimination. - To be submitted on briefs only without argument.

12.  State ex rel. EMSTAT Corporation, et al. v. Margaret Williams, Court Reporter - 25857 - EMSTAT seeks a writ of mandamus to compel the court reporter to produce transcripts of Kanawha County Civil Actions No.s 96-C-2223 and 97-C-428. - Dismissed.

13.  State ex rel. Joseph Scott Baumgardner v. West Virginia Parole Board - 25858 - Baumgardner files a pro se writ of mandamus seeking to compel the Parole Board to grant him a parole hearing.  He was sentenced to 1-10 years for grand larceny.  He has spent, as of 3/31/99, approximately 17 months in the county jail.- Dismissed.

14.  State ex rel. William Chapman v. William K. Davis, Commissioner, et al. - 25859 - Petition for Writ of Mandamus in SER Chapman v. Davis, et al., No. 990508.  The petition seeks to compel the transfer of the petitioner, confined to the Southern/Southwestern Regional Jail since 5/4/97, to an appropriate penal institution.  - Dismissed.
