1.  State of West Virginia v. Stephen Hatfield - 25368 - This appeal is derivative of State v. Hatfield, 186 W.V. 507, 413 S.E.2d 162 (1991), which directed the lower court to develop the record concerning the petitioner's guilty pleas.  The petitioner now contends that it was error to uphold the guilty pleas upon remand. - Continued to June 8, 1999.

2.  Lori Toler v. Jody Hager - 25477 - Defendant appeals from judgment order which denied reinstatement of the jury's original verdict on liability and damages.  Defendant also appeals from order granting plaintiffs a new trial.

3.  West Virginia Division of Highways v. Jack Butler, et al. - 25791 - Continued to May 11, 1999.

4.  Roy Collins, et al. v. City of Bridgeport - 25626 - The petitioners, various police officers of the City of Bridgeport, appeal a ruling of the Circuit Court of Harrison County to the effect that the City's method of awarding salary increases, based upon merit, did not violate this State's police civil service system.  

5. MBNA America Bank, NA, v. Josephine Guido - 25789 - Debtor appeals summary judgment in favor of creditor.- Dismissed.

6. Edith Irene Wood v. William Barton, M.D. - 25792 - Plaintiff appeals dismissal on summary judgment of a medical malpractice claim which the lower court found was barred by the two year statute of limitations.
