1. Office of Lawyer Disciplinary Counsel v. George W. Jordan - 24285 - Office of Lawyer Disciplinary Counsel seeks the annulment of Jordan's law license following his embezzlement conviction.
2. State of West Virginia v. George A. Easton - 25057 - Defendant
appeals conviction of battery and willfully creating an emergency situation for an
incapacitated adult. He was sentenced to 12 months in the county jail on the battery

6. State of West Virginia v. Nathan Shelton - 25019 - Petitioner, an individual who was deemed appropriate for placement on home confinement in lieu of incarceration, appeals the denial of home confinement on the basis of his inability to pay the costs of such alternative sentencing.
7. State of West Virginia v. Elizabeth Ladybird Jenkins - 24738 - Defendant appeals her convictions for uttering and forgery. The convictions resulted from a second trial of the defendant after this court in State v. Jenkins, 446 S.E.2d 471 (W. Va. 1995) (McHugh) (Jenkins I) reversed her conviction of uttering (she was not tried the first time on the count of forgery) and remanded for a new trial. Defendant alleges that the charge of forgery should have been dismissed and that other errors occurred.
