1.  Office of Lawyer Disciplinary Counsel v. George W. Jordan - 24285 - Office of Lawyer Disciplinary Counsel seeks the annulment of Jordan's law license following his embezzlement conviction.

2. State of West Virginia v. George A. Easton - 25057 - Defendant appeals conviction of battery and willfully creating an emergency situation for an incapacitated adult.  He was sentenced to 12 months in the county jail on the battery conviction and 2-10 on the willfully creating an emergency situation for an incapacitated adult conviction.  The sentences are to run concurrently.
State of West Virginia v. Kevin True  - 25058 - Defendant appeals conviction of battery and willfully creating an emergency situation for an incapacitated adult.  He was sentenced to 12 months in the county jail on the battery conviction and 2-10 on the willfully creating an emergency situation for an incapacitated adult conviction.  The sentences are to run concurrently.

3. State of West Virginia v. Barbara J. Milburn - 25006 - The defendant appeals her conviction for first degree murder with mercy, second degree arson, and two counts of providing false information.

4. State of West Virginia v. Daniel William Goff - 25009 - Defendant appeals from the Reconsideration of Sentencing Order wherein the circuit court denied the defendant's request for sentencing to the Anthony Center under WV Code 25-4-6.

5. State of West Virginia v.Charles Lee Brewer - 25013 - Defendant appeals his conviction for three counts of receiving stolen property. 

6. State of West Virginia v. Nathan Shelton - 25019 - Petitioner, an individual who was deemed appropriate for placement on home confinement in lieu of incarceration, appeals the denial of home confinement on the basis of his inability to pay the costs of such alternative sentencing.

7. State of West Virginia v. Elizabeth Ladybird Jenkins - 24738 - Defendant appeals her convictions for uttering and forgery. The convictions resulted from a second trial of the defendant after this court in State v. Jenkins, 446 S.E.2d 471 (W. Va. 1995) (McHugh) (Jenkins I) reversed her conviction of uttering (she was not tried the first time on the count of forgery) and remanded for a new trial. Defendant alleges that the charge of forgery should have been dismissed and that other errors occurred.

8. State ex rel. U. S. Fidelity & Guaranty Co. v. Hon. Robert B. Stone, Judge, et al. - 25147 - U. S. Fidelity & Guaranty files this writ of prohibition seeking to prevent the plaintiffs suit against Earl B. Beach Company from proceeding based upon improper service of process.
