Petition for Habeas Corpus relief arising from Thabit v. Thorne, 98-CAP-34 (Cabell County), wherein Judge Cummings ruled that Thorne was to be evicted from rental property. Thorne was summarily held in contempt and placed in jail for 25 days for continuing to refer to tape recordings. Thorne went to jail on September 2, 1998, and claims habeas entitlement. However, by order of September 18, 1998, Thorne was released "pending any action" by this Court. |
