Family Court Judge and his staff ride the circuit

Family Court Judge K. Bruce Lazenby and his staff traveled by train this summer to hear cases in a nearby county.

On July 22, Judge Lazenby, his clerk, and case coordinator traveled by Amtrak to hear cases in Hinton, located in Summers County.

Judge Lazenby was elected to the newly formed Thirteenth Circuit of Raleigh, Summers, and Wyoming Counties in 2008. His office is based in Raleigh County.

"I thought it would be fun and also interesting to travel the circuit the way judges used to," said Lazenby.
