Open Enrollment Begins in April
Open Enrollment for Plan Year 2011 (July 1, 2010, through June 30, 2011) will extend from April 1 through April 30, 2010. Watch your mail in late March for the PEIA Shopper’s Guide and Mountaineer Flexible Benefits (MFB) Reference Guide. Policyholders will receive these materials to learn of new plan options and the possibility of a four percent premium increase.

In an effort to reduce costs, PEIA has cut back the number of benefit fairs this year by eliminating those that have not been well attended for the last several years. If the fair you’ve visited in the past isn’t available this year, you can always get information about plans by calling the PEIA toll-free phone numbers listed on the back of the Shopper’s Guide.
Reminders:
PEIA will not automatically mail transfer forms/tobacco affidavits. If you decide to change plans or your tobacco status changes, immediately notify your benefit coordinators, Linda Foster or Mandy Fitzwater at (304) 558-2978.
IMPORTANT: Do NOT use PEIA’s Online Enrollment Web site for any changes.
Mail completed PEIA and/or MFB forms to the Administrative Office, c/o Linda Foster or Mandy Fitzwater no later than Friday, April 30.
