During the Supreme Court's final administrative conference of the term, on the motion of current Chief Justice Brent D. Benjamin, the Justices voted to maintain the Chief Justice rotation that has been in place since its order of 1980 and, therefore, next in the rotation is Justice Robin Jean Davis.

            Justice Davis will serve as the 2010 Chief Justice.

            The Court further voted to have Justice Margaret Workman serve as Chief Justice in cases Justice Davis has to recuse herself.
