West Virginia Access to Justice Commission
The West Virginia Access to Justice Commission addresses barriers to justice faced
by moderate and low income West Virginians. Under the leadership of Justice
Brent D. Benjamin, the nine-member Commission’s focus includes such topics as
Disproportionate Minority
Contact (DMC) with the Court System and the Limited English Proficiency (LEP)
Population, Self-Represented Litigants and Pro Bono services, Domestic
Violence, Family Law, Elder Law, and Resource Development, Public Education, and
Outreach.
