West Virginia Purchasing Division to Hose Vendor & Local Governments Outreach Events in September

The West Virginia Purchasing Division is hosting two outreach events this September to support vendors interested in doing business with the state, as well as political subdivisions looking to stretch their budgets through state purchasing resources.

Event Details:

Beckley: Thursday, September 18| 9:30 a.m. - 12:30 p.m.  Tamarack Conference Center

Martinsburg: Thursday, September 25| 9:30 a.m. - 12:30 p.m.  Hilton Garden Inn


Topics Include:

• How to market goods and services to state agencies,

• Specifications and how they impact state contracts,

• Addressing contract terms and conditions,

• Understanding bond requirements,

• And more!

Onsite Support:

Purchasing Division staff will be available to:

• Answer questions related to the state purchasing process and the State and Federal Surplus Property Programs

• Walk vendors through the website

• Assist with the vendor registration process
