
The Acquisition & Contract Administration Section of the West Virginia Purchasing Division is responsible for the procurement of commodities and services for all state agencies, with emphasis on buying the best quality for the least cost to the taxpayers. The administration of the Purchasing Card is monitored by this section. Professional development and education of purchasing personnel and guidelines to both the agency and division level is also addressed by this section.
