3rd Wednesday of each month at 5:30 p.m. (No Appointments)

Applicants should arrive by 5:00 p.m. Tests start at 5:30 p.m.
Seating is limited
Applicants for typing positions must take the written and typing tests on the same day. General written exams are NOT available on clerical testing dates.

Data Entry Operator 1 and 2 keyboard testing is available in Charleston only.

(Tests are offered for more than 50 titles. Check the job posting for test information.)

1st Wednesday of each month. Report at 5:00 p.m. (No Appointments)

Please arrive early.
You cannot take the Office Support (clerical) exam (written or typing) on general written test days.
Data Entry testing is available in Charleston only. Seating Limit: 20

CORRECTIONAL OFFICER 1
Correction Officer 1 testing is available at Correctional facilities and WorkForce WV Job Service Offices. Please call our office at 558-3950 Ext. 57207 for information or call your local WorkForce WV office (304-538-7741) or Correctional Center about CO1 testing times.

Important Additional Information About Testing:

No appointments are necessary. Testing is subject to seating and test booklet availability. Do not send your written test application to our office. Apply online (preferred) or take your completed paper application to the test center. Personal identification is required.
Do not call the testing centers with questions concerning minimum requirements or the applications. Questions should be directed to the Division of Personnel at (304) 558-3950, extension 57207.

From Keyser and Romney area -

Take Route 220 South to Moorefield

At the stop light (near the Sheetz restaurant), turn left onto Spring Street.

Go to the Stop sign. Turn left onto Route 55 East.

Go about 1 mile. The Harco Bulding is on the left.

Job Service is on the second floor.

From Petersburg area -

Take Route 220 North to the first stop light in Moorefield.

Turn right onto Route 55 East.

Go about 1.5 mile. The HARCO Building is on the left.

Job Service is on the second floor.

From Wardensville, WV and Winchester, VA -

Go West on Route 55 toward Moorefield.

The Harco Building is about 1 mile outside Moorefield.

The Building is on the left.

Job Service is on the second floor.
