CLERICAL WRITTEN AND TYPING TEST (Walk-in) [Click to learn more about Clerical titles and Testing]
Applicants must bring No. 2 pencils for completion of the exam. (Limited seating)
1st and 3rd Monday of each month at 5:00 P.M.
No appointment necessary. Test is on a personal computer.
Seating: 25
Applicants for typing positions must take the written and typing tests on the same day.

GENERAL WRITTEN TESTING (All Non-clerical announced jobs)
(Tests are offered for more than 50 titles. Check the job posting for test information.)
Walk-in testing. No appointments made.Schedule: 2nd, 4th and 5th Monday of each month at 5:00 P.M.
You cannot take the Office Support (clerical) exam (written or typing) on general written test days.
Data Entry testing is available in Charleston only.
Schedule changes: NONE KNOWN AT THIS TIME.Correction Officer 1 testing is available at WorkForce WV Job Service Offices. Please call our office at 558-3950 Ext. 57207 for information or call your local WorkForce WV office about CO1 testing times.
Important Additional Information About Testing:
No appointments are necessary. Testing is subject to seating and test booklet availability. Do not send your written test application to our office. Apply online (preferred) or take your completed paper Application to the test center. Personal identification is required.

Traveling I-77 North or South (turnpike):
Take Exit 1 (52 North) and turn right on John F. Nash Boulevard.
Continue on 460 West.
Take the Maryland Avenue exit and follow the hospital signs to Cherry Street.
Follow Cherry Street to the 52 Junction.
At the traffic light, follow 52 North across Easley Bridge.
Turn left to Dickason Hall location (Proceed across Bluefield State Campus.
Follow the campus map at the entrance.Traveling U.S 460 West:
Turn right at the intersection of Rt. 19 S (next light after Mercer Mall). Follow Rt 19 S into Bluefield, where it becomes Princeton Ave. At the second light, Princeton Ave becomes Bluefield Ave, continue.... At the intersection of Rts 19 and 52, follow Rt.52 until you cross the Easley bridge. Turn left to Dickason Hall location (Proceed across Bluefield State Campus.
