DOWNLOAD DECISIONS

Decisions can be downloaded one year at a time in an RTF format, (compatible with either Microsoft Word or Corel WordPerfect) by clicking the icons below. Not all Decisions issued prior to 1994 are available in electronic form.

Decisions issued each year have been compressed into a self-extracting file. Save the file from the web site in a temporary location on your machine, i.e., c:\myfiles. Once you have downloaded the compressed files in the temporary directory or folder, go to File Manager (Windows 3.1x) or Windows Explorer (Windows 95) and double click on each file. The file will let you know it is going to extract the file to c:\decisions\decxxxx. Click Extract and if the folder is not there, the application will tell you it will create it. Once you have unzipped a compressed file, it can be deleted from the temporary directory or folder.

New Decisions will be posted semi-monthly for downloading.

Posting Schedule: Around the 18th of each month, the decisions issued between the 1st and 15th of that month can be obtained at the "NEW" icon below. Around the 3rd of the next month, the decisions issued between the 1st and 15th of the month will be moved to the current year link below. Then Decisions issued between the 16th and the end of the previous month will be added to the "NEW" link below.

The Board has started a project to make selected old Decisions available on the web. As time and resources permit, the Board's staff will add Decisions to the web using a scanner. The types of old Decisions that will be selected for publication include cases that have been cited frequently or are requested often by parties and representatives. Decisions that have no value as precedent because the law has changed will not be published as part of this project.
